KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Brian Ray Hester, 47, of Kingman Nov. 5 on a felony warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia issued by Kingman Justice Court. Deputies contacted Hester in the 3100 block of Northfield Avenue around 4 p.m. A records check showed him to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Kingman Police officers arrested local resident Nolan Gene Martin, 32, Saturday for a felony warrant from California. Martin was the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation in the 2200 block of Hualapai Mountain Road around 11:30 p.m. A records check showed that the Department of Corrections in California had a felony warrant for Martin's arrest. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Units were deployed Saturday afternoon due a woman getting disoriented and stranded in the desert. Dorothy McLaughlin, 80, of Topock called 911 from her cell phone and said that she was traveling from Kingman to Topock when her car got stuck in a ditch in the desert. She left her vehicle and began walking toward a highway. SAR volunteers responded around 1:18 p.m., along with the Kingman Air Rescue Ranger. The Ranger spotted the vehicle in a ditch off of the Griffith Road exit from Interstate 40 around 2:30 p.m. McLaughlin was located shortly thereafter. The onboard paramedic determined McLaughlin to be okay. She was escorted in her vehicle back to the roadway where she was followed home.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a single-vehicle injury accident that occurred in the area of Antares Road and California Street late Wednesday morning. Deputies responded to the scene of the rollover accident around 10:46 a.m., where the driver of a 2009 Kia Spectra and passenger suffered injuries. They were both transported to Hualapai Mountain Medical Center. The driver may have suffered from a broken hand while the female passenger may have suffered a broken toe. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The driver was cited for speeding.
