The Future Business Leaders of America student organization from Kingman High School hosted a "Glow-Ball Golf Tournament" on Oct. 23 at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course. In spite of the difficult economic environment, Kingman's business community and individuals were extremely generous with donations of prizes and sponsoring tee signs. We would like to thank the following: The Gardens Care Center, Lingenfelter Center, Lat Sunglasses, Kim's Hair Affair, Pawn World, Cerbat Lanes, Home Style Furniture, Mandarin Orchid House, Kingman Furniture, Doctor Ron Olson-Advanced Foot and Ankle, H and H Homes LLC, Pitzer's One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating, Mink Ink, Safeway, Top This Salon, Kingman Daily Miner, KZKE Radio 100.1, Happy Haircutters, True Value Distribution Center, Dreams and Rainbows, R & S Hauling, Hog Heaven Catering, Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course, Mohave Insurance, Kingman Fitness and Racquet Club, Donna and Paul Mowry, and David Owens. Additional thanks go to the participants for spending a beautiful evening helping our group achieve their goals.
The purpose of our fundraising is to generate resources for our students to partake in the organization's professional opportunities: travel and registration for our fall, regional, state and national leadership conferences and competitions, providing a peer mentoring project for elementary school students, provide middle school presentations and other community service events, and finally, to fund a possible scholarship program. Any other interested contributors can contact an advisor at firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
