The Future Business Leaders of America student organization from Kingman High School is hosting a "Glow-Ball Golf Tournament" at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course. The purpose of this fundraising tournament is to generate resources for students to partake in the organization's professional opportunities. By participating in FBLA, students learn leadership and business networking skills, practice career development, and specialize in a specific business-related topic. Members plan and participate in community service activities and are actively involved in pursuing their productive future. The funds generated allow members to travel to attend the Fall Leadership Conference and regional, state and national competitions. Additionally, FBLA is planning a peer mentoring-project for elementary school students, middle school presentations and other community service events. You can help Kingman High School's FBLA student organization by purchasing a Tee-sign, donating gifts and/or signing up to play in the golf tournament. If you have any questions, call Jean Meersman at (269) 271-4461 or jmeersman@kusd.org.
