Reform will keep U.S. competitive

This country is much in need of healthcare reform to enable us to compete with the world's developed countries who all enjoy good national healthcare systems.

We are being lied to by the monied healthcare insurers and pharmacuetical companies. The reforms in H.R. 3200 do not lead to rationed care, do not have 'death panels' (if national care had this then half our legistators would have been ground up long ago), you will still be able to choose your doctors and healthcare coverage.

The public option is just that - an option - and is the only way to force insurance companies (with huge lobbies and vast control) to reduce costs. They are currently cooperating among themselves to control YOUR care and costs to their benefit and not yours.

If we fail to correct the direction of our current system of out of control price increases, none of us will be able to afford decent health insurance in the near future and the insurance companies will decide for all who they will cover and who is too expensive.

Healthcare reform will protect those who have insurance now (including Medicare) and streamline and make more affordable all of our care.
