Mohave 911: Tuesday, September 8, 2009

CEDAR HILLS - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Amberlee Jo Crabtree, 26, of Golden Valley Thursday for felony aggravated assault on law enforcement officer along with assault, criminal damage, disorderly conduct, false report, DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08% and extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15%. Deputies responded to the 800 block of Ty Road around 10:15 p.m. where a female identified as Crabtree reported that her truck was stolen. While en route, dispatch advised that Crabtree's boyfriend returned the truck, but Crabtree was causing a disturbance. Dispatch further advised that Crabtree backed her truck into a brick wall outside the business and left traveling west on Interstate 40. Shortly thereafter, deputies conducted a traffic stop and the truck exited Interstate 40 at exit 59. Deputies contacted Crabtree, the driver, and smelled alcohol. Following field sobriety tests, Crabtree was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, where an analysis revealed her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .209%. While Crabtree was being transported to the Sheriff's Office, she spit numerous times on the deputy. At the Sheriff's Office, Crabtree pulled the fire alarm while she was being escorted to the holding cell; therefore she was charged with false reporting. Crabtree was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without further incident. Further investigation determined that Crabtree assaulted a male subject while she was at the business located on Ty Road.
