Claudia C. Foster went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009. Claudia was born to Claude and Grace Cochran on Sept. 1, 1919, in Colton, Calif.
Claudia served in the United States Navy during World War II. She was a huge fan of almost every sport and played in a semi-pro softball league. She loved to travel and do as much fishing as she could. Claudia's biggest love was for her family. She always had an open door and plenty of food cooking in the kitchen.
Claudia is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Grace Cochran; her husband of 40 years, John Foster; brothers, Donald Cochran, Harold Cochran and Gus Cochran; her son, Greg Foster; and great-grandson, Cameron Foster.
Claudia left behind her son, Keith (Jennifer) Foster; grandchildren, Stephanie (David) Wick, Tabitha Foster, Misty Powell, Maddie Cole, Brad Cole, Jeff Foster; great-grandchildren, Memphis, Dustin, Tatum, Myah, Sean; nephews, Don Cochran, Wallie Cochran, Johnnie Cochran; and many dear friends.
Claudia has touched the hearts and lives of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave.
