The annual Fall Coat Drive sponsored by the Optimist Club, the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Andy's Cleaners, has begun! Everyone is encouraged to donate new or gently-used coats and heavy jackets for this effort. Coats for children and teens are especially needed. Please bring the coats to Andy's Cleaners, 2601 Stockton Hill Road, here in Kingman, where the coats will be cleaned and repaired. Note: There is no charge to those donating coats; this service is a donation of Andy's Cleaners. Please do not bring light-weight jackets, sweaters, etc. to Andy's Cleaners. Those items may be taken directly to the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. The Coat Drive will continue through the end of September. Coats will be given out - free of charge - to those in need - during October at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. Thanks to everyone for their support of this charitable program!

This liturgical year, 2009-2010, has been proclaimed the Year of the Priest by Pope Benedict XVI. We urge everyone to join our Holy Father in praying for vocations and for all Priests, Deacons, Religious and seminarians, as they fulfill their mission of spreading the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ!
