KINGMAN - The 32nd Annual Andy Devine Awards were held Saturday evening, with Kingmanites from all walks of life coming out to honor the shining stars of our community.
Awards were given in 10 categories this year. Dr. John and Diana Lingenfelter were both recognized as Lifetime Achievers and Humanitarians of the Year, sharing the latter award with brothers William and Tod Becker.
Jerry Ambrose beat out six competitors for Citizen of the Year, while Lorraine Leeming edged out three rivals to win Businessperson of the Year.
Rauchel Farris walked away with the Student of the Year award, with Manzanita Elementary principal Jeri Wolsey winning Educator of the Year. This year's Tourism Champion award went to Joseph B. Donovan.
Cerbat Guest Home won the award for the year's Most Improved Commercial Property, while the Kingman Meth Coalition snagged Organization of the Year.
BJ Corbajal of The Enchanted Paw took the Business of the Year.
