BULLHEAD CITY - Bullhead City Police are stepping up "stranger danger" education in schools after a reported attempted child abduction last week.
Last week, a 9-year-old girl said she was walking home in the area of Palo Verde and Yale Drive around 3:30 p.m. when a dark red/maroon passenger car pulled up beside her. The male driver asked the girl if she wanted a ride. After the girl said no, the driver grabbed the sleeve of her shirt and pulled her toward him. The girl was able to free herself and run to her house where her mother called police.
The driver is described as a white male, in his 20's, light brown hair with a small patch of hair beneath his lower lip. Two other males were sitting in the rear seats of the vehicle. The vehicle is described as a dark red/maroon colored passenger car with tinted windows in the back with scratches in the tint. The driver's side of the car has minor damage/scratches.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Bullhead City Police at (928) 763-1999.
