If you've gotten tired of the high winds that have prevailed over the last few days, count on being exhausted before the gusts turn into gentle breezes.

According to the Weather Underground Web site forecast (, today's weather qualifies as "breezy" in the morning and increasing to winds of up to 25 mph this afternoon, with a forecast high around 60. The normal high this time of year is the low 70s. The high winds will continue tonight, with gusts forecast to reach 40 mph.

The prediction for Wednesday is more wind, with gusts up to 35 mph, with highs expected to reach the mid-60s. Temperatures in the 70s are expected by Thursday.
