KINGMAN - The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is warning the public of a telephone scam. A Littlefield resident received a call soliciting donations for the Saguaro Fraternal Order of Police. The incident is believed to be an attempted scam and the Sheriff's Office would like to caution residents. Investigations determined that the Saguaro Fraternal Order of Police organization does not exist. If you suspect fraud, contact your local law enforcement office.

KINGMAN - Kingman Police Officers arrested Larry Charles Lane Jr., 41, for two felony warrants April 5. Officers received information that Lane was in the 100 block of Bruce Street and had two felony warrants for his arrest from Mohave County. The warrants were for a probation violation and for failure to register as a sex offender. Officers responded to the residence around 11 a.m. to contact Lane and found him attempting to leave through the side rear door of the residence. Lane was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jesse Rowland Timms, 19, of Kingman Tuesday for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies observed a male subject stumbling while he was walking in the area of Benton Street and Northfield Avenue around 11:55 p.m. Deputies contacted the male subject identified as Timms. Deputies questioned Timms about being impaired. During conversations with Timms, he admitted to smoking marijuana earlier and that he had marijuana in his pocket. Deputies found Timms to be in possession of a small plastic bag containing marijuana. Timms was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested John Francis Majko III, 30, of Kingman Tuesday on two counts of felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling with the driver's side headlight not working around 11:56 p.m. As deputies were about to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle pulled into a residence in the 2800 block of Neal Avenue. Deputies contacted the driver, identified as Majko, and found him to be in possession of a glass pipe with residue and a plastic bag containing a white crystal residue. Majko was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested John Robert Williamson, 43, of Bullhead City Wednesday for felony possession of contraband in corrections facility. Deputies contacted a detention officer at the Jail Annex around 10 a.m. regarding inmate Williamson in possession of drugs. The detention officer said that he was processing Williamson into the jail when he located a plastic bag containing marijuana amongst Williamson's property. During conversations with Williamson, he said that he found the marijuana. Williamson was booked into jail with the additional charge.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Heather Joy Ohlinger, 29, of Kingman Thursday for felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies responded to a business parking lot in the 3000 block of Northern Avenue around 7:20 p.m. in reference to a suspicious male subject driving a black Aerostar van. Upon arrival, deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle as it was traveling toward an exit in the parking lot. Deputies detected a strong odor of marijuana and had the male driver and female passenger exit the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a glass pipe with burnt residue and a plastic bag containing marijuana. The female passenger, Ohlinger, said that she was smoking marijuana when they were stopped. Ohlinger was arrested without incident and transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
