I-40 EAST OF KINGMAN

The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin bridge rehabilitation work today on the westbound lanes of the Willow Creek Bridge on Interstate 40, approximately 35 miles west of Seligman. Westbound traffic will be restricted to one lane in the mile-long construction area through August. The project includes removal and replacement of the bridge deck.

A 14-foot width restriction will be in place for wide loads through the duration of the project. Wide loads will be required to detour around the project area using Exit 121, Route 66. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph and strictly enforced during lane closures. For more information regarding this project, contact Michele Beggs at (928) 681-6054 or e-mail mbeggs@azdot.gov.
