Wayne Nichols values some jewelry that Carol Colias brought in to the Treasure Hunters Roadshow in Kingman Thursday. Treasure Hunters travels across the country and buys and values the items and collectibles that people bring in. Paul Dichraff of the THR said that they have seen a lot of coins, gold and silver brought in the past few days here in Kingman, probably due to the current high prices of gold and silver. Dental gold is accepted as well. People can come in and get their items valued for free and then sell them if they want. Treasure Hunters represents 685 collectors who may directly purchase items brought in to the roadshow. THR also has contact with a network of about 6,000 other collectors who may later make offers on the items brought in. Dichraff said that on Wednesday, the THR paid out over $50,000, mostly for coins. Treasure Hunters is at the Quality Inn, 1400 E. Andy Devine Ave., and operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Call (866) 306-6655 or visit www.treasurehuntersroadshow.com.
