KINGMAN - The Bureau of Land Management Kingman Field Office is looking for volunteers to help perform trail maintenance on the Mohave and Milltown Railroad Trails from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 24.

The trails are about six miles southwest of Oatman.

"We need as many volunteers as we can get," said BLM Kingman recreation planner Len Marceau. "We need folks to perform trail maintenance involving brush cutting and disposal, some tread repairs and pick up trash."

Marceau added that volunteers should meet at Milepost 9 on the Boundary Cone Road. People coming from Kingman should travel to Oatman on Route 66, continue through Oatman and turn right (west) on Boundary Cone Road. The route is paved and signed. Volunteers should bring water, sunscreen and a sack lunch.
