Fred Duccini points out the engine of a classic car Saturday to his grandson, Jared, during the monthly "Chillin' on Beale Street" event in downtown Kingman. Chillin' on Beale Street is a joint effort between the Kingman Route 66 Association and the Route 66 Cruizers Car Club and includes classic cars from several car clubs around town, food, music, and even a gunfighter group - the Kingman Wild West Society. This past Saturday, participants in Dale Butel's Route 66 Tour, which included tourists from New Zealand and Australia, came through to visit with their Mustang convertibles during the event. The next Chillin' on Beale Street will be held May 15 on Beale Street, not far from the KABAM book festival and street fair at Metcalfe Park.
