Archery shoot this weekend

KINGMAN - Now that the fall archery big game tags have been issued, it is time for local archery enthusiasts to get out and practice under real-life hunting situations.

The Mohave Desert Archers, an affiliate club of the Mohave Sportsman Club, is holding a 3D shoot this weekend.

The shoot will be on Saturday and consist of two 15-target courses. The event will be located at the archery range on the Mohave Sportsman Club's 7 Mile Hill Range. The shooting is open to all archers, and you don't have to be a member of the MSC to participate.

The event will start at 8 a.m. There will more shooting on Sunday starting at 8 a.m.

It costs archers who want to participate in the fun shoot $15 for single shooters, $25 for husband/wife teams, and $30 for family. Kids 10 and under shoot for free.

In the trophy shoot division, it is $20 for singles who are 18 or older, $15 for the youth division ages 11-17, and $5 for cubs, ages 10 and under.
