Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested John Edward Flores, 43, of Golden Valley Friday, Aug. 6, for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, along with threatening and disorderly conduct, misdemeanors. Deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 4900 block of Teddy Roosevelt Road around 2:22 p.m. Upon arrival, they detained a male subject, later identified as Flores, outside of the residence. A 65-year-old female victim at the residence said that Flores, a family friend, was acting strangely and threatened her to have sexual relations. Deputies contacted the victim's husband who said that he was awoken by his wife yelling. Flores was arrested without incident. He was also allegedly found to be in possession of a plastic bag containing marijuana. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Luke Austin Slaughter, 27, of Kingman, Saturday, Aug. 7, for felony possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies contacted two male subjects as they were walking in 3500 block of Ryan Avenue around 2:12 a.m. One of the subjects was identified as Slaughter. Deputies reportedly found him to be in possession of a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance, which field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Slaughter was arrested without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Kingman Police arrested Steve Morgan Yarbrough, 27, of Kingman Saturday, Aug. 7, on a felony charge of vehicle burglary. Officers arrested Yarbrough after he was seen inside a vehicle in the 2300 block of Airway Avenue. It was found that the vehicle did not belong to him, and he was attempting to steal items from the vehicle.Yarbrough was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
