Angel Manor Inc., a clean and sober recovery house for alcohol and drug addiction, celebrated its ninth year of operation Saturday in Kingman with an Alumni and Friends BBQ. More than 400 women and their children have lived at Angel Manor over those nine years. Sponsors for the event included Chili's, Safeway, Walmart, Walgreens and JB's. Author Diane Finnegan Wilson was there to read and sign books (proceeds from her book sales that day were donated to Angel Manor). Kingman Bullets and Bustles, Pirate Thunder and some members of the Society for Creative Anachronism provided entertainment. Angel Manor always welcomes donations.
