In 2006, I won the General Election with overwhelming support from the voters in the Cerbat Precinct of Kingman. I want to thank everyone and express my heartfelt gratitude for your vote of confidence in my law enforcement ability and in my integrity!
I am honored to be running "unopposed" in the upcoming election, and it is with great pleasure and pride that I am able to give John Slaughter my full endorsement in his bid for the Kingman Precinct constable.
The office of the constable is not well understood by many but plays a vital role in our law enforcement and judicial systems. Constables are elected "peace officers" who execute duties for the Justice Courts and law enforcement. Deputy constables must be Arizona certified the same as any other police officer or deputy sheriff in the state of Arizona. John Slaughter is the only candidate with a proven record of strong law enforcement leadership and years of experience with the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, his most recent assignment in the Civil Division. He is clearly the best candidate for constable. Slaughter has the background and the training to not only get the job done, but to get the job done right!
Mr. Slaughter not only has my support but is endorsed by the Arizona State Fraternal Order of Police, Sheriff Tom Sheahan and the majority of law enforcement personnel in Mohave County. I urge you to vote for John Slaughter for Kingman Precinct constable.
Constable Jean Bishop
