Kingman Police Department arrested 15 subjects between the ages of 15 and 20 Friday, Aug. 20, for underage consumption of alcohol, after officers responded around 2 a.m. to a report of an underage drinking party at a residence in the 700 block of W. Spring Street in downtown Kingman. Subjects were issued citations and released appropriately.

Kingman Police arrested Kenneth Alan Watts, 28, of Kingman Saturday, Aug. 21, on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs. Officers responded to a disturbance at a motel in the 1400 block of E. Andy Devine Avenue around 12:45 a.m. When officers arrived, they observed Watts injecting what was later found to be methamphetamine into his body. Watts was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James A. Parrott, 46, of Las Vegas Sunday, Aug. 15, for felony theft of a vehicle. Deputies responded to the area of Beale Street and Interstate 40 regarding a stolen vehicle. Dispatch advised that the reporting party was following his friend's stolen tan van. Deputies observed the van pull into a business parking lot in the 900 block of Beale Street. They then conducted a high-risk traffic stop in the parking lot with the assistance of Kingman Police officers. Deputies immediately took the driver, later identified as Parrott, into custody. A search of the vehicle revealed a .22 magnum pistol. During conversations with Parrott, he allegedly admitted to stealing the van from someone in Dolan Springs. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was released to the owner.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Marcus Adam Fuentes, 24, of Kingman Sunday, Aug. 15, for felony burglary. Deputies responded to a delayed theft report at a residence in the 7000 block of Massachusetts Drive around 4:53 p.m. The 48-year-old female victim reported that Fuentes had broken into her house and taken some money on Aug. 8. Shortly thereafter, deputies contacted Fuentes in the 4700 block of N. Sierra Road. Fuentes declined to speak with deputies, but in a written statement, he reportedly admitted to taking cash after he gained access to the residence by breaking a window. Fuentes was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. More charges may be pending.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Glenn Allen Schaffner II, 29, of Kingman Sunday, Aug. 15, for aggravated DUI, aggravated DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08%, aggravated extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15% and aggravated super extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .20%, all felonies. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Neal Avenue at Benton around 10:30 p.m. and contacted Schaffner, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on him. During conversations, he reportedly admitted to drinking. A records check revealed Schaffner to have a suspended driver's license. Following the field sobriety tests, Schaffner was arrested and transported to the Mohave County Jail, where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration to be .215 percent. He was booked into the jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Kingman Police arrested Shane H. Burton, 42, of Alabama Monday, Aug. 23, on a felony warrant out of the Alabama Department of Corrections. Burton was contacted during a traffic stop in the 2200 block of E. Andy Devine Avenue around 12:30 a.m. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail on a fugitive from justice hold.
