Frances Eileen Gove died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at the age of 91. She was born in Kansas. She and her family moved to Kingman in 1961.
Eileen was preceded in death by her first husband, William Weide (deceased 1953) and her second, husband, Harold Gove (deceased 1986).
She is survived by her daughters, Norma Weide Gerdes and Tamar Gove (Steve) Danielson; her son, Micah Gove; her grandson, Timothy (Carrie) Gerdes; granddaughters, Heather Harrison, Eileen Danielson, Elizabeth Danielson and Amy Danielson; and great-granddaughters, Jessica Gerdes and Samantha Gerdes. She is also survived by two stepchildren, Bruce (Barbara) Gove and Heddy Steele, together with their children and grandchildren.
Eileen was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in January 1951. Before moving to Kingman, she and her family were active in helping people learn God's Word in Page among the Navajo people. In the last years of her life, she found great happiness in the ministry in Peach Springs and made many friends among the people there and in Kingman.
A memorial service for Eileen will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4335 Stardust Ave., Kingman, with Richard Mains officiating.
