Suspects sought in home invasion

Five victims were bound and robbed

KINGMAN - Police are looking for two suspects who forced their way into an apartment on Beverly Avenue last week.

Kingman Police Lt. Rusty Cooper said it appears the victims were specifically targeted when the two men forced their way into the apartment in the 1000 block of Beverly Avenue in the early morning hours of Dec. 2.

Cooper said the suspects came up behind an individual knocking on the door of the apartment around 3:30 a.m.

The two men, armed with handguns, then forced their way into the home, where four other young adults were still awake inside.

The five people inside were then bound with duct tape.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the apartment with the victims still bound.

They eventually freed themselves and called police. Cooper said about an hour passed between when the two men forced their way into the apartment and when police arrived on scene.

Cooper said the only description police have is that the suspects are possibly Hispanic men. Anyone with information is asked to contact KPD at (928) 753-2191 or report anonymously by calling Mohave Silent Witness at (928) 753-1234.
