KINGMAN - The University of Arizona Mohave County Cooperative Extension is offering Urban Home Horticulture Training beginning Feb. 9. The class series is 15 weeks. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
This course covers an introduction to botany and horticulture; local geology; soils, soil amendments and understanding soil analysis tests; fertilizing, composting and plant nutrition; plus a number of other topics.
