Aaron Searan of NPG Cable works on pigeon-proofing the front doorway of Sarah's House Wednesday morning as a couple of pigeons look on. Sarah's House Child and Family Advocacy Center is a crisis center which helps victims of child abuse and domestic violence. They were having a problem with pigeon droppings on their doorstep and already had pigeon-proof strips, which bar pigeons from perching on doorways, but they couldn't reach the top of the doorway. NPG Cable agreed to help. Aaron, Lora Atchley and Tim Hults of NPG Cable donated their time and came out Wednesday morning to install the strips.
