Timothy Barg (pictured right), a 2003 graduate of Kingman High School, was promoted to the rank of staff sergeant in the United States Marine Corps on Feb. 1. So far, he has served for six years and eight months, having had tours in Japan and Iraq. Timothy is an F-18 Hornet Electronics Technician and is currently an instructor at Naval Air Station Oceana, teaching his field to Marines and sailors before they report to their respective commands in the operating forces. He currently resides in Virginia Beach, Va., with his new bride, Andrea Barg (Webb), also a 2003 graduate of Kingman High School. Timothy's proud parents are Robert D. Barg Sr. and Joe and Naomi Holtzen of Kingman. Shown with Timothy is Staff Sergeant Hollon.
Gabriella N. Aguilar graduated from Navy Boot Camp in Chicago on Dec. 30. She attended Kingman High School in 2009 for her senior year but moved to California and graduated from Pacific View Charter School in Oceanside. She is now in school in Pensacola, Fla. When she graduates from there, she wants to be stationed closer to home to be near the family.
