Club plans star party

KINGMAN - The High Desert Astronomy Club of Kingman hosts a Public Star Party that starts at sundown Jan. 23 in Walleck Ranch Park, located on Willow just north of Kino.

Those who attend will have a chance to view craters on the moon and where Apollo 11 landed, Jupiter and its moons, Mars, the Great Nebula in Orion and other space sights. The rings of Saturn will be visible after 10 p.m.
