Martin "Marty" M. Badura, resident of Kingman for the past seven years and resident of Lake Havasu City for 18 years, died at home on Hospice on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010.
He was born during the dustbowl years of 1934 in Loup City, Neb.
Marty worked as casino floorman at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas. He was president of Full Gospel Businessmen in Las Vegas for five and a half years, and headed up Neighborhood Watch in Lake Havasu City for six years.
He was awarded eternal life through Jesus Christ in August of 1973. He was always active in the churches he attended.
Marty never knew a stranger and loved talking to people. He was an avid fisherman and owned 25 boats in his lifetime. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, and his dogs were truly his best friends.
Marty is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly Badura; his daughter, Lisa (Mark) Conrad of Colorado; three sons, Steven (MaryLynn) of Florida, Michael of Arizona and Robert of South Carolina; and three grandsons.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Praise Chapel, 419 Harrison St. Interment will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Las Vegas.
The family suggests donations be made to Praise Chapel or KRMC Hospice.
