Waste Management of Arizona and New Mexico donated a Co-Mingler Recycling Bin to the Golden Valley Chamber of Commerce with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and presentation Saturday. Here, from left to right, GV Chamber President Bobbi Case; Karen Vond, the "Unofficial Mayor of Golden Valley"; and Alan Rush, district manager of WM-Kingman Hauling and Transfer, stand next to the new Co-Mingler. The Co-Mingler, one of Mohave County's first, will take plastic bottles, cardboard, newspaper, phone books, magazines, junk mail, aluminum cans, milk cartons and several other items. Glass bottles are not accepted. Hours for the bin are the same as the GV Chamber, which is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be closed at other times to prevent wildcat dumping. The GV Chamber of Commerce is located at 3395 N. Verde Road. Items will be recycled and redistributed in industries across the nation and around the world.
