Letter: Thank You Kingman Elks Lodge 468

The Kingman Elks Lodge 468 concluded a successful Christmas year by assisting the Kingman Police Department's Clothe a Child program, the distribution of 100 Christmas baskets to local families, and held its annual Christmas party featuring Santa Claus for the children at the lodge.

The Charities Committee would like to thank all of the lodge members for supporting the Charity Ball Dinner/Dance, which provided the money for the Clothe a Kid and Christmas baskets programs. They would also like to thank all the lodge members and their families who helped to set up, assemble and deliver the Christmas baskets.

Special thanks to the students of the Kingman Academy of Learning for collecting the canned goods and other non-perishable foods used in the Christmas baskets. Also, a big thank you for the personalized Christmas cards made by the students and distributed to the patients at the Prescott Veterans Hospital.

The committee would further like to thank the following local businesses for their support: Safeway Food Store, American Woodmark, Little Debbie's Foods, True Value Hardware and the Gardens Care Center.
