Nancy Elizabeth Leverenz went home to be with her Father in heaven on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at the age of 79. She was born to Ernest and Agnes (Beatty) Jackson in Louisville, Ky.
Nancy married her best friend, Dean Leverenz, 33 years ago and together they made Lake Havasu their home 33 years ago from Fallon, Nev. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, loyal friend, but above all was a faithful servant of God.
Nancy leaves behind her beloved husband, Dean of Kingman; two sons, Michael Wilson of Corpus Christi, Texas, and William Leverenz of Kingman; daughters, Barbara Carlson of Oceanside, Calif., and Donna James of Lee's Summit, Mo.; stepdaughters, Dee Ann Kirk, Jolyn Sue Irwin and Lee Ora Curtis; sisters, Teenie Beutel and Susie Wilkerson, both of Louisville; 16 grandchildren and 21-1/2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Lee, and sister, Betty.
Contributions may be made in Nancy's name to the Nursing Home Ministry, First Southern Baptist Church in Kingman or Kingman Regional Medical Center Hospice on Sycamore Street in Kingman.
