KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested six illegal immigrants Thursday, June 3. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 68 at milepost 23 just after 10 p.m. Deputies contacted six occupants. With the assistance of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, they were determined to be illegal immigrants. They were taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County Jail, where ICE will later take them into custody. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Gene Ferrin, 39, of Mesa Thursday, June 3, for felony aggravated assault on law enforcement and two counts of misdemeanor assault. Deputies responded to an assault report at a residence in the 3000 block of Butler Avenue around 7:23 p.m., where Ferrin allegedly assaulted a 60-year-old female and a 70-year-old male. While deputies were outside speaking with the female victim, they heard a commotion inside the residence. Deputies responded inside and observed a male victim lying on the living room floor. The male victim said that Ferrin came inside and beat him up. Deputies observed the back door open and saw Ferrin running toward the back fence. Deputies ordered Ferrin to stop. He turned around and took an aggressive stance. As deputies were taking Ferrin into custody, he became combative. After a brief struggle, Ferrin was restrained. Ferrin was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
