KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's Office received a report of a puppy mill business being run out of residence in Dolan Springs and executed a search warrant Thursday, June 3, in the 14400 block of N. Mineral Road. The search allegedly revealed 11 dogs living in a secondary trailer. Authorities said the dogs were without water. The owner of the property, Edwina Jean Minton, 67, was cited for a zoning violation (having a kennel without a permit), cruelty to animals, dog at large, seven counts of over-the-limit and four counts of no license. Minton was cited and released. MCSO would like to remind residents that the county ordinance is four small animals.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Richard Paul Wright, 42, of Kingman Sunday, June 6, on a parole violation felony warrant issued by Arizona Department of Corrections. Deputies responded to an agency assist in the 3900 block of Ryan Avenue around 3:35 a.m. The Arizona Department of Corrections advised that Wright had an outstanding warrant for tampering with an electronic tracking device. Deputies contacted Wright and he was arrested without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Kingman Police arrested a 14-year-old male Monday, June 7, for underage consumption of alcohol. A parks worker found the boy intoxicated and passed out in the skate park in the 2000 block of Detroit Avenue around 9 a.m. Officers took the boy into custody. He became combative and uncooperative. He was booked into Mohave County Juvenile Detention and charged with the liquor law violation and probation violation.
