KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested David P. Hagar, 22, of Kingman June 5 for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, along with DUI and DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 percent, misdemeanors. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Stockton Hill Road at Edie Drive around 12:45 a.m. and contacted Hagar, the driver. Deputies allegedly smelled an odor of alcohol on Hagar, who admitted to drinking. Following the field sobriety tests, he was arrested. A search of the vehicle revealed a prescription bottle containing 29 grams of marijuana. Hagar was transported to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration to be .085 percent. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Brenda Sue Odom, 39, of Kingman June 11 for possession of marijuana, possession of narcotic drugs, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, all felonies. Deputies observed a parked vehicle in front of a residence with its emergency lights on in the 2900 block of Neal just before 1 a.m. Deputies stopped and observed the vehicle was unoccupied. As deputies approached the house, they smelled a burnt odor of marijuana. They contacted the residents and determined Odom to be in possession of marijuana. During conversations with Odom, she allegedly said the marijuana belonged to her. A search of Odom's purse revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana, a pipe with burnt residue, tweezers, rolling papers, a metal spoon and an unlabeled prescription bottle containing narcotic pills.
