Mohave 911: Wednesday, June 30, 2010

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Randy Deed Payton, 20 and Mario William Fragassi, 39, both of Golden Valley Saturday, June 26. Payton was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, three counts of possession of weapon during drug offense, three counts of possession of weapon by prohibited person and a parole violation warrant issued by Arizona Department of Corrections, all felonies. Fragassi was arrested on a parole violation felony warrant issued out of Arizona Department of Corrections. Deputies responded to the 1300 block of Estrella Road regarding a black Jeep Cherokee speeding in the area around 4:10 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies observed a black Jeep Cherokee parked at a residence in that same block. The jeep registration identified Payton as the owner, who was a wanted felon. Deputies had knowledge that Payton was possibly armed with high-powered weapons. They established a perimeter around the property and observed a male subject exit the house, who was identified as Fragassi. A records check showed Fragassi to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested without incident. Using a public announcement system, deputies attempted to communicate with Payton numerous times. MCSO's Tactical Operations Unit responded, and through on-going negotiations and around 8:58 p.m., the front door opened and Payton exited the residence unarmed. He was then arrested. An MCSO negotiator ordered the remaining people out of the residence. A male subject and a female subject exited. Both of them were detained. A search warrant of the residence was obtained and executed. The search allegedly revealed an AK47 assault rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun and three long rifles. A clear plastic bag of a white crystalline substance, which later field-tested positive for methamphetamine, was floating in the toilet. Three of the weapons and the methamphetamine were determined to be Payton's. Payton and Fragassi were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Kingman Police arrested Joshua A. Patterson, 25 of Kingman on two felony charges of aggravated assault on a juvenile under 15 Monday, June 28. The juveniles were not seriously injured. Patterson was arrested as he was leaving the area. Alcohol is believed to be a factor. Patterson was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
