BLM seeks comments on MCC's GV project

KINGMAN - The Bureau of Land Management Kingman Field Office is considering a request from Mohave Community College for 12.5 acres of public land in Golden Valley for the purpose of building a satellite campus.

The BLM is asking for public input on whether the property should be sold or leased to the college under the Recreation and Public Purposes Act, said BLM Field Manager Ruben Sanchez.

The proposed facilities consist of classrooms, offices, computer facilities, a library and bookstore, and athletic facilities for educational purposes.

Interested residents may submit comments, by July 16, to BLM Field Manager, Kingman Field Office, 2755 Mission Boulevard, Kingman, AZ 86401.
