Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Clark Mason, 48, of Golden Valley Monday, Oct. 11. Mason was arrested for felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as misdemeanor shoplifting and several outstanding warrants. Deputies responded to a shoplifting report at a convenience store in the 3600 block of Highway 68 around 6:15 p.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, deputies contacted an employee who said two male subjects took a candy bar and two fountain sodas without paying. Deputies reviewed the surveillance video and identified the subjects. Further investigations led deputies to a residence in the 3800 block of Bonita Road where Mason was located hiding inside a bathroom. A search of Mason reportedly revealed a cigarette case containing a marijuana cigarette located in his pants. During conversations with Mason, he said that he thought his friend paid for the items at the store. A records check showed Mason to have two felony warrants issued by Mohave County Superior Court for probation violation and burglary. The friend was also arrested for misdemeanor shoplifting.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Rocky Wayne Seibert, 40, of Kingman on Saturday morning, Oct. 9, on an outstanding warrant. At 8:30 a.m., deputies contacted Seibert at a residence in the 1700 block of Potter Avenue in an unrelated incident. A records check showed Seibert to have a felony warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court for possession of dangerous drugs. Seibert was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
