KINGMAN - Kingman Regional Medical Center recently opened a new Pediatric Therapy Center on the second floor of the Medical Professional Building on the KRMC campus.

The center features innovative pediatric therapy equipment in a stimulating, kid-friendly environment. Special swings, mats, pedal vehicles and other equipment help children with impairments develop important motor skills, muscle tone and cognitive abilities while they play.

Prior to opening the center, KRMC's Pediatric Therapy Department provided services to children at the Del E. Webb Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. The new KRMC Pediatric Therapy Center is customized to the exclusive needs of children.

"We're thrilled to begin serving kids at our new facility," said KRMC Pediatric Physical Therapist Tricia McNeil.

"It provides the space and specialized equipment for helping children develop important functional skills."

KRMC's Pediatric Therapy Department includes skilled pediatric physical, occupational and speech/language therapists who specialize in helping injured, disabled or delayed children reach their full developmental potential.
