Man dies days after crash

KINGMAN - A 72-year-old Kingman man died Monday, several days after he was involved in an accident with another vehicle.

Mohave County Sheriff's spokeswoman Trish Carter said the accident is still under investigation, but that the man, Weldon Arnold Langley, may have suffered a medical event that caused him to lose control of his vehicle while driving in north Kingman around 8:30 a.m. Friday. Carter said an autopsy is pending.

Langley was behind the wheel of a Ford F150 when it sideswiped a Dodge Neon on Northern Avenue at N. Benton Street. The driver of the Dodge was traveling with two children, one of whom suffered possible whiplash. The ages of the children were not available.

Langley was transported from the accident scene to Kingman Regional Medical Center and was later airlifted to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas where he died Monday.
