BULLHEAD CITY - A Bullhead City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana after police executed a search warrant at his home.
Casey Daniel Rodman Jr., 24, was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and misconduct involving weapons after police found approximately 98 grams of marijuana in his home in the 800 block of Baseline Road.
Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman Emily Montague said Rodman has a medical marijuana card issued out of California, allowing him to use marijuana for medical purposes in that state. Rodman allegedly has a medical condition and uses the marijuana for "pain management," Montague said.
Officers also allegedly found a semi-automatic pistol in the residence, Montague said.
Montague said officers determined Rodman was not intending to sell the marijuana. Rodman was cited and released due to his medical condition, which was not disclosed. The marijuana was seized, Montague said.
