KINGMAN - The 22nd Annual KRMC Foundation Charity Golf Tournament for Hospice tees off at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course with a shotgun start.
The $100 entry fee includes green fees with cart, plus a polo golf shirt, cap, towel, a gourmet catered lunch and many other giveaways.
The awards ceremony and luncheon will follow at the end of play in the clubhouse. Lots of great prizes, raffles and silent auction items will be available to bid on. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top five teams plus Closest-to-the-Pin, Putting Challenges and separate Longest Drives for men and women. Hole-in-one challenges are sponsored by Findley Nolte Honda, Pitzer Heating & Air Conditioning and KJJJ/KNTR Radio.
Major sponsors this year include T.R. Orr, The Gardens Care Center, Ambient Edge Heating & Air Conditioning, Merrill Lynch and National Bank of Arizona. Additional sponsors include Aramark Healthcare, Culligan, Monica J. Busch Investments, Professional Hospital Supply, Dr. Vinod Singh and Trinity Allergy.
Hole sponsors include Baer Financial Services, H&H Printers, Kids Little Smiles, Kingman Pulmonary Associates, Law Offices of Deborach Liverence, Soroptimists International and Waste Management.
In addition, KRANK Golf will have one of their golfers on site at the first hole to add some excitement to the longest drive competition.
Through the generous donations and commitments from individuals and businesses, enough money has been raised to complete the Joan and Diana Hospice Home in Kingman. However, additional funds are still needed to provide ongoing support as the facility becomes fully operational. The funds raised from this year's golf tournament will be designated for that use - so keep on putting!
Golfers can sign up at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course or contact Scott Kern at (928) 681-8656 for more information.
