Patric "Pat" Harrell, 71, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at his home in Kingman after a brief battle with lung cancer with his family by his side. He was born in Harrisburg, Pa., grew up in Texas and moved to Kingman from Southern California in 1975.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Norma; his daughter, Vera Jean Rohelier and family; and two sons, Douglas Bates and Michael Harrell and their families.
He is also survived by one aunt, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pat was a Marine and proud of it. Semper Fi.
Pat managed and/or owned several auto body repair shops in California and in the Kingman area. He retired from the auto body repair business in 1995 to pursue other interests.
He started Eagle Graphics, a digital photo restoration business, in his home and actively worked at that until his health started to fail. He said it gave him great pleasure to see the delight and smiles of his customers after he had restored a treasured photo that had been damaged.
One of Pat's greatest pleasures was riding his motorcycle with his wife as his co-pilot and he estimated they had ridden about a quarter million miles together.
Pat's family donated his body to science for research and education. No services were held.
Any memories you may have of Pat can be e-mailed to the family at firstname.lastname@example.org.
