James Siokos, 72, of Kingman passed away at home on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010. He was born July 18, 1938, in Chicago. He moved to Kingman 16 years ago from Elgin, Ill.
James retired from Chicago Rawhide known as CR in the bearings and seal industry of Elgin. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1963.
James was preceded in death by his father, Demetrious "Jim" in 1945. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elyse Markee Siokos; his mother, Dorothy Siokos of Elgin; two sisters, Mary Siokos (Robert) Smith of Elgin and Nancy Siokos (Glen) Leffler of Belvidere, Ill.; two brothers, Danny (Pauline) Siokos of Crown Point, Ind., and Gordon (Kathryn) Siokos of Davenport, Iowa; and many, many loved nieces and nephews. He is also survived by sister- and brother-in-law, Pat and Corliss Foley of Kingman; brother- and sister-in-law, Gary and Vicky Markee of Kingman; and sister-in-law, Faye Pipps of Apache Junction.
