Anna May Laulo, 85, passed away on Friday, March 11, at Clare Bridge Nursing Home in Tempe.
Anna May was born in Big Sandy, Mont., on May 28, l925, to Ann and Hans Lehfeldt. She attended grade school and high school in Big Sandy and college at Principia College. In l945, she married Edwin Laulo and they resided in Big Sandy until 1955 when they moved to Kingman with their five boys. Soon to follow was the birth of two daughters.
Anna was a homemaker and found great joy in caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to the management of her Montana farms, she was active in Homemakers Club, Bridge Club, Girl Scouts, and enjoying her community of friends. She was an inspiring role model and will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; her parents, Ann and Hans Lehfeldt; and two sons, Ronny Laulo and Roger Laulo. She is survived by her sons, Dennis Laulo (Linda), Keith Laulo (Rhonda), and Bob Laulo (Kay); daughters, Stacy Orsino (John), Dorel Meier (Gary); 13 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
A family memorial service is to be held at a later date.
