The Mohave County Board of Supervisors and presiding Superior Court judge proclaim April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month on April 4 at the County Administration Building in Kingman. "Mohave County Court Appointed Special Advocate program and the Superior Court Infant and Toddler Mental Health Team speak up for abused and neglected children...." the Proclamation states. The Board and Weiss "urge all residents to join in a national effort to raise awareness and help prevent child abuse and neglect."
