Letters to the editor: 4th-graders can see through these lies

Obama has just appointed a new super debt commission. Gee, where have we heard this before? They're supposed to cut 1.2 trillion from our debt over the next 10 years. That averages $120 billion a year from a forecasted deficit of more than $1 trillion a year for the next 10 years. This would make a 4th-grader who can add and subtract laugh.

Throw in the Obama health care bill that adds 30-40 million people to the health care rolls, plus expands coverage at no additional cost to you and I as taxpayers. By now, the 4th-grader is in stitches laughing so hard, yet Obama is trying to sell this to adults. This guy is over his head, has no clue what to do except to get on TV every day and talk, as most politicians do.

I would vote for a candidate that had the guts to say, "I don't know what to do" rather than the finger pointing and blame game. No one knows what to do. If that happened, maybe the 4th-grader would stop laughing.
