KINGMAN - The Mohave County Republicans will be hosting a special guest speaker at this year's annual picnic, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The picnic will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Hualapai Mountain Park.
Other guests expected to attend include State Treasurer Doug Ducey and Secretary of State Ken Bennet along with Mohave County Sen. Ron Gould and State Rep. Doris Goodale.
Tom Morrissey, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party is expected to attend as well.
In addition to speakers, Mohave County rock band DoubleXXCross will be performing. Food will be provided by Kingman's Redneck Barbecue.
Admission is $20, with children under 12 free. Tickets can be bought in advance and are available at the MCRCC District 1 headquarters inside the Hot Rod Cafe, 2215 Hualapai Mountain Rd, Kingman, AZ 86401.
