Sharon Darlene (Lennox) Solheim of Kingman was carried by angels into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011. She will be sorely missed by her loving husband of 46 years, Warren. Sharon was born to Letha Agnes (Moodie) and Donald Marion Lennox on May 25, 1940, in San Jose, Calif.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Stacy L. Simon; granddaughter, Jenna L. Simon, and her adored great-grandson, Marques Simon, all of San Jose. She is also survived by brothers, Frank P. Caruso (Jackie) of Surprise, Ariz., and Donald Lennox (Rosa) of Bullhead City.
Sharon loved spending time at the Aquarius Casino in Laughlin, Nev. She "tickled" the slots, enjoying life and laughs at the Aquarius Buffet. She was a beautiful, classy lady and will long be remembered by those who loved her.
Sharon's family and friends would like to express their thanks to the many Kingman physicians and nurses who cared for her during her 11-year battle with cancer. They lifted her up during her difficult times and cheered her on during her good times. Special thanks to the staff of the Kingman Regional Medical Center and Dr. Mohtaseb's office. Sharon often said she got the best treatment in the world right here at home. Extra special thanks to the amazing staff of the Joan and Diana Hospice Home, where Sharon spent her final days. The staff treated Sharon, the family and friends with care and compassion.
Donations may be made in Sharon's memory to the Hospice Home. "Some angels have wings and some have nurses' uniforms."
