Harry J. Russell, a 15-year resident of Kingman, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at the age of 83. He suffered with Alzheimer's for the last 12 months. He was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Leavenworth, Kan., to Harry and Thelma Russell, the first of five children. He was a good son and older brother to his siblings.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Ridenour of Kingman; and four grandchildren, Shilo Ridenour, Courtenay Ridenour of Kingman, Ruthie Hartle of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Larry Ridenour of Denver. He also leaves a brother, Robert L. Russell of Petaluma, Calif.
He retired from the Retail Clerks Union of Southern California and then began a successful career in real estate.
The services will be Monday in Covina, Calif.
