Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jon G. Ellis, 52, of Kingman Dec. 3 for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies contacted Lozano around 9 p.m. during a traffic stop on Melody Street at Snavely Avenue. A consent search of Ellis reportedly revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance located inside a metal container. Ellis was arrested without incident. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a bottle containing marijuana, numerous burnt marijuana cigarettes and a pipe with burnt residue. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Gregory Wayne Rodgers, 23, of Kingman Dec. 4 on outstanding warrants. Deputies contacted Rodgers around 4:15 p.m. in the 2100 block of East Devlin Avenue on an unrelated incident. A records check showed Rodgers to have four felony warrants, including three probation violations. Rodgers was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report at the Mohave County Jail Wednesday regarding an inmate in possession of contraband. Deputies contacted a detention officer at the Mohave County Jail around 11:15 p.m. regarding inmate Klarke Ioan Hassell, 29, of Golden Valley, who was in possession of a syringe. The detention officer reported that a syringe fell out of Hassell's shoe as he was being booked into the jail. Deputies contacted Hassell and charged him with promoting prison contraband, a felony. Hassell was arrested earlier in the evening at about 7:58 when deputies responded to a suspicious subject in the area of Crystal Drive and Shipp Drive. Deputies contacted Hassell and a records check showed him to have a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court.
