KINGMAN - Kingman Police said the arrests of two individuals on vehicle burglary charges have led to additional drug and theft charges for at least three others.
Daniel J. McClary, 32, and Kayla S. Connell, 20, both of Kingman, were arrested Sunday after police said the pair were seen burglarizing a vehicle in a parking lot in the 3500 block of Stockton Hill Road.
Kingman Police Capt. Rusty Cooper said that in addition to methamphetamine, McClary was also found to be in possession of property from a previous, unrelated car burglary reported Dec. 1.
Police then obtained a search warrant for a local motel room where McClary and Connell were reportedly living. Cooper said that when that search warrant was executed Wednesday, three others staying in the room were found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia. Arrested and charged with felony counts of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia were Venus D. Martin, 24, Monique C. Craddick, 34, and Jessica N. Folts, 24, all of Kingman.
Cooper said that more stolen property from other burglaries was found in the room. McClary and Connell are already charged with vehicle burglary and McClary faces additional charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of stolen property, but more charges are possible for all five suspects depending on how many burglaries police can connect them to, Cooper added.
